Chelsea have made two changes in their Champions League squad that will face Bayern Munich during the knockout stages of the tournament.

Young defender Marc Guehi has been dropped from the squad as he has now joined Championship side Swansea City on loan during January transfer window, and midfielder George McEachran is another one to be dropped as he has also left the Blues to Dutch second-tier outfit SC Cambuur on loan.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek is making a slow comeback after missing the first half of the season because of his ruptured Achilles tendon that he suffered during Chelsea’s post-season match against MLS side New England Revolution.

Christian Pulisic has also kept his space in the Chelsea squad that will face the German champions.

The American winger suffered a training injury shortly before the club’s FA Cup victory over Nottingham Forest and has been absent since.

Chelsea will be looking to overcome Bayern Munich and book their place in the quarter-finals of Europe’s most prestigious club competition.
