Conor Gallagher has been one of the breakaway Chelsea loan stars first with Charlton and now with Swansea in the Championship this season.

The midfielder recently talked about his love for the Blues and his longing for the Chelsea start with club’s official website despite his success in the second tier.

The 20-year-old said:

My dream is to play for Chelsea. It’s the club I’ve loved since I was a little boy. I’m willing to do whatever I can, to work as hard as possible to achieve that.

It will make my family so proud, it will make me proud of myself.”

He’s not leaving any room for interpretation there, and we love to hear that kind of passion and determination. The kids on loan now know that Lampard and his staff are paying close attention no matter where they are playing, and there’s no way that Gallagher’s exploits haven’t caught the manager’s attention.

His chance to play for the club he’s “loved” since he was a little boy may come sooner than he thinks.
