Chelsea are in advanced talks to sign attacking midfielder Hakim Ziyech from Ajax for £38m and the deal will be completed within days, report highly credible Sky Sports sources.

Ziyech was strongly linked with a move to Chelsea during the January transfer window, but the Dutch champions didn’t want to lose a player in the middle of the season.

Now the news is that they are ready to let the player go when the transfer window reopens in the summer and it seems the wheels have been set in motion for his departure.

It seems the Blues have landed the key blow to secure the Moroccan’s arrival in the summer transfer window.

The west London club have the deal in place with Ajax and will now look to agree to personal terms with the player. It is not expected to be a problem and it has been claimed that Ziyech is likely to sign on a contract with Chelsea in the summer.
